FAQs/ Hair Care Tips

DO YOU OFFER PICK-UPS?
Yes pick up is available for all orders. During the checkout process choose "PICK UP" and you will not be charged for shipping. Please make sure that you still enter your address during the checkout process. Once your order is received and processed you will receive an email when your order is ready for pick up. Processing for Pick-Ups takes 5-7 business days, not including weekends or holidays. Once your order is available for Pick Up, you will receive an email and/or text message stating that your order is ready for pick up. The pick up location will be included in the text and/or email. You have 7 business days after the message goes out to pick up your order. After that, a no pick up will result in your order being refunded MINUS a 10% restocking fee. NO EXCEPTIONS!!
HOW MUCH HAIR DO I NEED?
Please keep in mind that the number of bundles needed can vary based on head size. If you need more assurance, consult with your stylist. Our bundles are 3.5-4oz. For 12-14" 2 bundles are needed for a traditional install (installs with a natural part). For 16"-22" 3 bundles are needed. Over 22" We would recommend 4 or more bundles because the longer the length, the smaller the weft.

CAN I COLOR MY HAIR?
This is 100% virgin human hair that has not been processed. You can color the hair,  however once virgin hair is treated in any way, it is no longer virgin. Be sure to keep color treated hair conditioned and moisturized. Consult with a professional stylist/colorist to preserve the quality of your bundles.
CAN THIS HAIR BE CURLED OR FLAT IRONED?
Yes the hair can be curled or straightened. We would recommend using a heat protectant and the brand we like to use is Tresemme Thermal Creations.
HOW LONG DOES THIS HAIR LAST?
This hair can last for at least 1-2yrs with proper care and maintenance.
CAN I MAKE CHANGES TO MY ORDER?
Processing begins right away so changes are not permitted once the order has been placed.

HAIR CARE TIPS
  • NEVER GO TO SLEEP WITH WET HAIR!!! IT MAY CAUSE THE HAIR TO TANGLE!!!
  • Always comb the hair upwards from the tips to the roots with a paddle brush, (DENMAN brush for curly or deep wave hair) or wide toothcomb.
  • Wash the hair every 1-2 weeks. Virgin hair is more prone to being greasy than our own so it’s important to keep it clean. We personally recommend using Tresemme Moisture Rich Shampoo & Conditioner.
  • When blow drying or heat styling, always use a heat protectant to protect the hair from heat damage. 
  • Avoid greasy or heavy products because they will weigh down the hair.
  • To maintain your styles, wrap hair at night for straight styles or use flexi rods for curled styles. This way you won't have to put heat on your hair everyday.
  • For curly or deep wave hair, use a light argan oil to hydrate your hair. Mix a little conditioner with water in a spray bottle and use this with a denman brush to define your curls/waves. Once all wet and defined, leave curls/waves alone to dry completely before touching!! Touching wet curls/waves causes frizz.
  • At night please be sure to wear a satin scarf/bonnet or sleep on a satin pillow case.
